This van model has been my dream for over 30 years. I am not likely to ever own one, so it was a delight to be invited into yours. Thanks for the fun tour. Felix is adorable and you both are so charming. May you have safe travels.
Very nice update of this classic. I had a '68 Westfalia, identical (including the exterior paint scheme!). One thing you might consider: I moved the spare to the front of the vehicle utilizing Unistrut to make a mount attached to the bumper. Then I used some of the foam and upholstery from that same front seat you've also removed to fill in the gap by the matress. I made a hinged plywood lid to cover the hole in the floor to create a small storage space. This made for much more comfortable sleep! Happy travels to you!

This fluffy cloud makes the van life 100x better than usual
You get an instant like from me just for the pop-up stove alone. I’ve seen many minivan builds as well as tiny house builds but I’ve never seen a pop-up stove like that before 👍.

Loved your video and bus! I had three in America back in the 1970’s traveling the country and camping in the great outdoors, so it really brings back memories. My creativity was pretty non existent compared to yours, but the memories of travels in my buses will last forever. So amazing how you have custom made your bus and used every little space imaginable. Happy travels!

Our family had a 74’Orange Westfalia that 5 of us travelled in as a family to Disneyland and back,my youngest sister has had 2 VDub vans; a 67’ beige camper van and most recently “Old Blue” her 72’ Westfalia pop top van. AAAAAH Memories!! I had a 1961 bus exactly like this inside!!! Only there was a backwards facing seat where your cooking cabinet is. Even had that mirror on the closet door, lol!! I loved my old bus. Thank you for the memories. 🙋♀️🤗❤️

The fold-down hob is a stroke of genius! And the rest of the conversion of course! I'd put the spare wheel on the front of the van and build some extra storage where it is at the moment.
